How to Horror

Sind wir durch das Medium Film schon so an Realismus gewöhnt, dass der Schauer auf der Bühne uns nicht mehr beeindrucken kann? Diese collagenartige Stückentwicklung erforscht die Fragen:
Welche Mittel braucht es, um von der Bühne aus zu gruseln?
Wie geht es den Müttern im Horrorgenre?
Und natürlich: WHAT'S IN THE BOX?  

Diese Text- und Szenencollage wurde vom Ensemble mit kollektiven Arbeitsmethoden arrangiert und erarbeitet.

Can theatre still evoke fear in its audience?

Have we become so accustomed to realism through the medium of film that stage horror no longer impresses us?
This collage-style play development explores the following questions:
What tools are needed to create fear from the stage?
How are mothers portrayed in the horror genre?
And of course: WHAT’S IN THE BOX?
