Sogno Numero Sette
by Guido Wertheimer & Colectivo Faramushi
A road trip through real and imagined landscapes: melting glaciers, the Amazon rainforest, Mediterranean islands, abandoned villages. Spaces in transition that also serve as surfaces for projection. Places that exist not only geographically, but also in thought and language—zones in which a different relationship to the world can be imagined.
This commissioned work by the award-winning author Guido Wertheimer is inspired by De Rerum Natura (On the Nature of Things) by the Roman poet and philosopher Lucretius—a poetic and philosophical attempt to make sense of the world through language and render it experienceable. From this starting point unfolds a text that reimagines the question of possible places.
The stage becomes the site of another form of presence—a present that does not merely describe what is, but opens up possibilities and makes visible what might be.
