Peer Gynt

by Dinçer Güçyeter after Henrik Ibsen with music by Sorbas

Escape: from reality through lies and stories, from home with a heavy dream and a ship. A journey between worlds of fairy tales and gold, in search of something that will satisfy the hunger. The inevitable return to the ruins of home. An identity made up of burning crossroads.

The award-winning poet Dinçer Güçyeter rewrites Ibsen’s story for the summer spectacular opening the Kulturarena. Rapper Sorbas provides the soundtrack. Concert, theatre, and spectacle exploring the abysses of human beings – and society.

Premiere: July 7, 2026
