And so the fairy tale of autonomy is told one last time – before a team of fairytale antiheroes finally takes it apart. With diapers instead of weapons, CPR dummies instead of glass slippers, and a whole lot of kind words instead of bad laws, they bring the capitalist hamster wheel to a standstill and clear the stage for stories of people whose everyday lives are shaped by connection and dependence. Based on interviews, a series of fairytale-like stories emerges about caregiving and the beautiful and difficult moments of being there for one another.
