Six people stand on a stage. Six bodies faced with the task of becoming visible as such. Their existence unfolds in the shadow of a long history. Beginning with the early twentieth century—the promises of the life-reform movements and the abysses of their darker twins shaped by National Socialist ideology—the performers travel through time. They encounter hippies of 1968, nudists in the GDR, and again and again themselves. They encounter freedom in nakedness, but also fear of it.

Through playful interactions, historically inspired scenes, and a constant negotiation of the degree of their nudity, a theatrical meditation emerges. Physical like a reform dance, intoxicating like the scent of grass that hovered over Woodstock, sunlit like a summer day at a nudist beach, feminist like an ordinary day in 2020 should have been. And always theatre.
